I love weekends! On saturday I went to the market to buy fresh fruits and veggies for a whole week. (I try to eat Vegan most of the time). Bought lots of banana’s (I am a runner) berries and green veggies. Will make green smoothies for dinner and make extra to take with me to work. So good for you. I usually add some extra’s to make it even better:) (like hempseeds, flaxseeds and chiaseeds). Since I ran a marathon 2 weeks ago and will run another one in 2 weeks I need all the help I can get. I believe eating the right stuff aids recovery and gives me energy to live life to the fullest. Also I made an appointment for a sportsmassage.
On sunday I ran 16K with a friend in the sun! Great way to start the day. Inspiration is everywhere this weekend. I saw the Ironman championships in Kona on the web and its so inspiring to see al those athletes compete. Unbelievable to see the female winner ran a 2:53 marathon!!!
